MOHAN SHAKTI HERITAGE PARK
Mohan shakti heritage park is at a distance of 12.5km from Aranya resort. It is situated in harat near by Ashwani Khadd. It is spread over 40 acres of land and was founded by Sh. Kapil Mohan, A retired Brigadier of the Indian Army, A Padma Shree awardee of India. The campus includes a beautiful garden with a park and a large Hindu temple at the top. The temple features the artwork of Hindu legends from Vedas and Motifs of Indian culture such as Lion, Tiger, Peacock, elephant and river dolphin statues are also the attraction of Mohan Shakti Heritage Park. The best time to Visit the park is from 9 am to 7 pm. It has a wide parking for the tourists.

RIVA WATERFALL
Situated amidst lush green valleys, Riva waterfall is a hidden gem in the town. If you are looking for a place which is not so much crowded then this waterfall is your ideal destination. It is not advised to directly head down under waterfall but you can enjoy near waterfall. The water coming down from the beautiful rock formations is delightful to the eyes. It is about 14.5 km distance from Best Resort in Shimla, Aranya resorts and 2km distance from the Mohan Shakti heritage park. The best time to visit the Riva waterfall is from July to September.

KAROL TIBBA TREK
Solan city mostly referred as Mushroom city of India because of the vast musroom farming in the area. Solan has many hiddens gems in it, one of them is Karol tibba ( Pandava cave). Karol Tibba trek is popular hiking trail in the region and it is situated at an altitude of 2240m above sea level. It is the highest peak in the region. This trail starts from Dedgharat 2 kms from Kandaghat and 4 kms from Aranya Resorts. This trek is about 6km from Dedgharat and lead you to the Mount karol on the top through the dense forest and one can enjoy the beautiful Solan city view and shivalik ranges from the top of the mountain.

KALI TIBBA
Situated at a top of a hill Kali Tibba is a temple dedicated to the hindu goddess Maa kali and is a most popular place to visit in Chail. It is about 31 kms from Aranya Resorts and 29kms from Kandaghat. This temple was build by the Raja of Patiala. It also becomes the one of the 51 shakti peeth holy sites for Hindu dedicated to Maa Kali. The temple visit is completely free for the tourists and have several facilities for tourists such as free parking, washroom, shops and drinking water.

RAMLOK TEMPLE
Ramlok temple is dedicated to Lord Ram and is one of the hidden unexplored treasure in the mighty Himalayas. The temple is grand and very beautiful with golden tombs shining on the top. The temple is beautifully constructed and this place is very calm and peaceful. It is situated in the Rura village near Sadhupul on Kandghat – Chail road and just 9kms from the Aranya Resorts and 7kms from Kandaghat.

BUDDHIST MONASTERY, DOCHI
13kms from Kandaghat on Kandaghat – Chail road near dochi, heading 1km inside from the kandaghat – chail highway there is a beautiful Buddhist monastery in the serenity oh mighty mountains. This is very peaceful place and several large and small bells are used for prayers on which the chants, mantras are engraved in tibetian language.

THE CHAIL PALACE
The Chail Palace was built by the Maharaja of Patiala, Bhupinder singh in 1891 as his summer retreat. After the Maharaja era this property is taken over by the Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development corporation. The palace has hosted many Bollywood stars, politicians and cricketers. This palace is famous for its antique architecture and items.

STONE KUMBH SHIV TEMPLE
Perched on a hilltop in serene hills of Chail stoned kumbh shiv temple, is constructed by Mr. Satya Bushan. This temple is a true example of love towards Lord Shiva of a devotee. Mr. Satya Bhushan,a 68 years old man, after having a vivid dream one night, starts contructing this unique temple in his premises in the year 1980. This temple is still under construction. A beautiful place to visit, made by the cement and wires thus making it look raw and rustic. It is about 35kms from Kandaghat and 37kms from Aranya Resort.

SHOOLINI MATA TEMPLE
The Shoolini mata temple is dedicated to shoolini mate an incarnation of goddess durga. This temple is the main attraction of the solan city and it is said that the city is name after Shoolini mata. This temple is situated in the Chowk Bazar of solan city at about 17kms from Kandaghat.

JATOLI TEMPLE
Jatoli shiv temple is said to be the north India’s talled shiv temple and is situated in the oachghat region in solan Himachal Pradesh at distance of 10kms from Solan and 27kms from Aranya resorts. This temple was established by the Swami Krishnanand Paramhans. He came to Jatoli in 1950 and the construction of temple was started in 1974. This temple is about 122 feet high and is constructed by the donation of the devotees only.

KUFRI
Kufri is a small hill station in the Shimla District of Himachal Pradesh and is at about 20kms from Shimla and 49kms from Aranya resorts. Kufri is from one of the best places to visit in Shimla. One can enjoy Horse riding, Zrbing various sports activities like bamboo bridge crossing, ropewayetc. One can visit Indira tourist park, Kufri fun world and kufri zoo also.

THE MALL SHIMLA
The Mall road shimla is considered to be the one of the most busiest and commercial areas of Shimla which consist of many shops, restaurants, hotels and cafes. It is about 31kms from Aranya resorts on NH-5 Kalka Shimla Highway.
Vehicles are not allowed in The mall road.
To reach the Mall road from down the hill there is a lift operated by the HPTDC from 8am to 9pm.

SANKAT MOCHAN TEMPLE
Sankat Mochan temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to deity Hanuman, and it is the second most visited Hanuman temple in shimla region after Jakhoo temple. It was established by the Neem Karoli Baba in 1950 and in 1962 the construction of the temple was started by the Lieutenant Governor Bajrang Bahadur Singh and inaugurated on 21 june 1966. This temple is situated near shimla Railway station at a distance of 25kms from aranya Resorts.

KALIBARI TEMPLE
Kalibari temple is situated on Bantony hill Shimla, and is dedicated to goddess Kali. Which is called as devi Shyamala and it is said to be that the Name Shimla is named after Goddess Shyamala. This temple was originally build by the Bengali Brahmin, Ram Charan Brahamchari. This temple is located in the middle of the city centre. It is about 27kms from Aranya resorts.

FAMOUS JAKHOO TEMPLE
Jakhoo temple is the ancient Hanuman temple situated on the highest jakhoo peak in Shimla. It is at about 2.5kms from the Mall road Shmla. It is famous for monkeys around the temple and the highest statue of Lord Hanuman in the world. It is said that according to the Ramayana while returning to the Lanka while taking Sanjeevani booti for Lakshman Hanuman ji took one step to jakhoo hills and other foot on Kasauli hill.

TARA DEVI TEMPLE
Tara devi temple is one of the most visited temple in Shimla city. This temple was built by the Bhupinder Sen in 1766. Later Balbir sen erected an idol of Devi tara made up of Ashtadhatu here. The 360 degree panoramic view of the city from the temple gives mesmerizing feel. It is situated at about 7200 feet above sea level and there is a Shiv temple, Shiv bavdi near temple. Every year there a local fair is celeberated. Every Tuesday and Sunday there is bhandara for its devotees and it is said that from now upto 32 years of bhandara’s is already registered. It is at about 27kms from Aranya Resort Kandaghat.

SADHUPUL
Sadhupul is a small village situated in between solan and Chail and is becoming the most visited sites near by. A water amusement park is the main attraction of the village situated in the banks of river aswani. One can can enjoy various water activities and sits in the banks of river while having their food and snacks. It is at about 15kms from Aranya resorts, the best resorts in the surroundings.

NALDEHRA
Naldehra is a small hill station near shimla. It is at about 22kms from Shimla and 49kms from Aranya Resorts kandaghat. Naldehra is famous for its lush green forests and Gold course. One can enjoy the scenic Naldehra from May to September. It’s a perfect place where you can relax and unwind yourself.

MASHOBRA
Mashobra is a little hill retreat near Shimla. Mashobra is famous for its lush green oak forests and fruit orchids. At 3km from Mashobra is Carignano a famous picnic spot.
